About
Creative Approach
As humans, our vision is one of the most profound ways we interpret and connect with the world. Through sight, we notice light, color, texture, and movement—elements that shape how we understand spaces and the emotions they hold. Photography, for me, is a way to capture not just what I see, but how I see it. It’s about preserving the beauty in the ordinary, and sharing a personal view of the world that invites others to pause and connect.
I take pictures. I’ve always taken pictures. It started with the feel and sound of my grandmother’s Kodak Instamatic, and over time it’s grown into a way of seeing and connecting with the world. For me, photography isn’t about perfection or staging—it’s about being present, paying attention, and trying to understand what’s in front of me. I think that if you’re a photographer, you’re just always trying to look at things and understand them and capture them.
I’m interested in people—more specifically, what’s inside of people. Their energy. I’m not interested in capturing reality, necessarily, but I am interested in capturing the way something feels, or the way it looks to me. I try to photograph people as they are, in the places where they live or work, and I try to make a connection with them. Whether I’m working on an assignment or making personal work, it’s all part of the same life. I want my photos to feel honest and lived-in, to capture not just how things look, but how they feel in that moment.
Most of my work is about finding a sense of connection—sometimes with a person, sometimes with a place, sometimes just with the light. I split my time between Spain and Scandinavia, always looking for good light, meaningful encounters, and scenes that catch my eye. I care much more about honesty than perfection. I want my photos to feel real—sometimes direct, sometimes quiet, always human.
If my work does anything, I hope it helps people feel seen. And if it makes you pause, or feel something you can’t quite name, then I’ve done what I set out to do.
